In an attempt to expand into the Chinese market, global security leader Gallagher Security has appointed Jin Hui as its new Regional Manager for China and North Asia. Having joined Gallagher in 2015 as a Business Development Manager, Hui has spent the last five years serving as Regional Manager for North Asia, in which capacity he has overseen Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. Now, he anticipates a plethora of opportunities in the expanded role.

Jin Hui expressed his anticipation for the potential growth and challenges the expansive Chinese market presents. "Security trends in China are different compared to other North Asian countries," he notes. "I see it as an opportunity to be more creative in how we position Gallagher's solutions and collaborate with the local market."

Hui plans to reinforce Gallagher's footprint in China by extending its Channel Partner network in the region. According to him, the Gallagher-certified Channel Partners possess invaluable insight and understanding of the local market. He says: "I'm most excited about bringing on new Gallagher-Certified Channel Partners. They have the most on-the-ground knowledge of the market, and by combining that with Gallagher's exceptional solutions and our customer-centric philosophy, I believe we can turn potential into real benefits for businesses in the region."

David Thean, General Manager for Asia, lauded Jin Hui's technical expertise and experience, attributing these as major assets that make him the ideal choice for this expanded role. "Jin knows Gallagher's solutions inside and out and has been an essential part of our team since joining in 2015", Thean states. "Jin's track record in Hong Kong makes him well suited to drive our business forward in China. Hui officially took on his new role in January 2024. Using his thorough understanding of Gallagher's solutions and his deft knowledge of the North Asian market, Jin Hui himself, the Gallagher team, and the wider industry are eager to witness how he will continue to foster growth and innovative approaches in his extended role.
