Leading investor services group, IQ-EQ, has announced the appointment of Tamas Mark as the new Global Head of Real Assets, marking a further development in the group's strategy for global real estate and infrastructure. Tamas is set to helm this newly devised role and further shape and refine the strategy for IQ-EQ's clients.

Tamas Mark boasts an impressive portfolio with over 20 years of industry experience. His past roles have seen him proficient in the management of complex real estate structures, holding assets across a broad spectrum of property sectors. He first forged his alliance with IQ-EQ in 2020, taking up the position of Head of Real Estate at IQ-EQ Luxembourg. During his tenure, he served as a pivotal point of contact for a select portfolio of real estate clients and was instrumental in driving the real estate strategy for Luxembourg within the Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) segment.

His professional background is robust with a string of strategic senior leadership roles. In previous positions, he held titles such as Director for Real Estate and Business Unit Director of Real Estate Solutions within an investor services group. Moreover, his diversified experience encompasses a three-year spell as Senior Manager for Corporate and Tax Services within a Luxembourg-based law firm, and senior tax advisory placements with two prominent Big 4 accountancy practices.

In his new role, Tamas is posed to implement a globally focused real estate and infrastructure strategy for IQ-EQ's clients. His responsibilities will span optimising service offerings, driving the development of new products, and playing a crucial role in fostering the evolution of centres of excellence for specialised real asset services.

The move has been warmly received by the group with Justin Partington, Global Head of Fund and Asset Managers at IQ-EQ, commenting: "Tamas is a highly experienced real assets professional who has consistently delivered quality services since he joined IQ-EQ four years ago. This is a new role within the Group, which will ensure that IQ-EQ offers our clients and prospects a consultative, innovative service offering with products that keep on top of market trends. Congratulations Tamas on this truly well-deserved promotion!"

The appointment of Tamas Mark is a strategic move for IQ-EQ, a group known for its comprehensive, intelligent investor services.
