TDCX Singapore earns Data Protection Trustmark award

Today

TDCX Singapore has been awarded the Data Protection Trustmark (DPTM) by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA).

The Data Protection Trustmark is a voluntary certification recognising organisations that uphold responsible data protection practices. It highlights TDCX Singapore's efforts in maintaining high data privacy standards, reinforced by its recent accomplishments in achieving various significant certifications.

Ms. Angie Tay, Group Chief Operating Officer and EVP, commented on the certification: "Protecting user information requires a well-rounded and proactive approach to data management and ongoing vigilance. The DPTM certification demonstrates our commitment to ensuring data security and maintaining our client's trust."

In confirming their pursuit of high data protection standards, Ms. Tay further explained, "In the last three years, TDCX has undergone rigorous assessments to become an IMDA-certified trusted digital identity provider. This includes appointing independent auditors to conduct thorough reviews and assessments on our Information Security (InfoSec) and data protection frameworks."

Among the certifications achieved by TDCX Singapore are the ISO 27001:2022 and the SOC 2 Type 2. The former outlines comprehensive procedures for businesses to establish and improve their information security management systems, while the latter offers a security framework guiding organisations in safeguarding customer data against unauthorised access and vulnerabilities.

Furthermore, TDCX Singapore has been recognised with the Singapore Cyber Trust Mark, which acknowledges organisations employing robust cybersecurity policies tailored to their risk profile.

The company's IT team actively engages with external consultants for ongoing advice on the latest trends in information security and the implementation of effective measures. They also collaborate closely with the learning and development team to provide annual training programmes, ensuring all employees are updated with the latest policies in InfoSec and data protection.

The DPTM certification joins TDCX's array of adherence to global data standards, including compliance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), reinforcing their international commitment to data privacy.
