Airwallex, Arsenal partner for Asia tour & stadium branding
Airwallex has entered into a multi-year partnership with Arsenal Football Club to become its Official Finance Software Partner and will also be the Presenting Partner for Arsenal's Men's 2025/26 pre-season tour in Asia.
The partnership means that Airwallex services will be integrated into the club's financial operations, and the company's branding will be visible across the Emirates Stadium and Arsenal's digital platforms. The partnership agreement grants Airwallex rights to use Arsenal's Men's and Women's first team branding, alongside delivering content for supporters during matches at Emirates Stadium across both the Premier League and Women's Super League competitions.
Expanding partnership
This collaboration marks Airwallex's second foray into global sports partnerships, following its ongoing relationship with Formula One's McLaren Racing. Airwallex, which was founded in Melbourne and recently valued at USD $6.2 billion, has described its strategy as focused on global brand-building through partnerships with high-profile sports organisations.
Airwallex's role as Presenting Partner for the club's upcoming pre-season tour will see the company provide its services during the tour, which will take Arsenal to Singapore and Hong Kong in late July 2025. Both parties indicated plans to work together in the longer term to enhance Arsenal's payment gateway services and drive operational improvements.
