Telecoms security company, Enea, has declared the appointment of Osvaldo Aldao as its new Chief Product and Technology Officer. Aldao brings over a quarter of a century's worth of experience to his new role, having worked with communications service providers across Europe, Asia, and Latin America, in senior leadership positions in sales and product management at both Enea and Ericsson.
Aldao's appointment comes at a significant time for Enea. Following a series of acquisitions and substantial R&D investment, the company now has an extensive array of specialist software for telecom network security and cybersecurity. To streamline their product focus and hasten technological innovation, Enea has formed a novel corporate function, 'Product and Technology'. This will amalgamate the company's technology strategy, research, and product management teams, driving innovation and commercialisation within the cybersecurity and telecom core domains.
Enea President & CEO, Anders Lidbeck, expressed his enthusiasm regarding Aldao's appointment: "I'm very thrilled with this announcement. Aldao enters his new role with an intention to tap into Enea's rich history of collaborative innovation. Prior to this appointment, Aldao held the position of VP Product Management at Enea starting from 2021. His earlier roles at Ericsson encompassed Head of Portfolio, Communications Services, Head of IoT Accelerator and Head of Sales Support. Aldao hails from Argentina and holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications and Electronic Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Buenos Aires.
