Globalization Partners adds employment platform capabilities
Wed, 2nd Nov 2022
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Globalization Partners (G-P) has unveiled the next generation of its Global Employment Platform with a range of new capabilities.

G-P's industry-first Employment Contract Generator feature makes creating compliant employee contracts much faster and easier, meaning people can be hired in less time.

New and improved integrations with HCM, applicant tracking and payroll platforms such as UKG, ADP, Greenhouse and Hibob will seamlessly integrate data into the platform.

In addition, the offering's user interface has undergone improvements that make it easier to navigate, simplify workflows and add in-product chatbots to foster intuitive and relevant support for users.

The new capabilities and enhancements include:

Employment Contract Generator

G-P provides an industry-first in-platform automated employment contract generator.

The new capability allows customers to create employment contracts for new team members that ensure compliance with local laws.

Additionally, it does this in minutes and can do so for almost every country worldwide, taking out the time-consuming task of creating contracts using offline communication manually.

New and enhanced integrations

The company has added new integrations with UKG, Greenhouse and Hibob, as well as new capabilities within existing integrations with ADP and the G-P open API.

These have been designed to facilitate seamless and error-free data flow between the G-P Global Employment Platform and HCM, applicant tracking, payroll and other systems.

New features in G-P Contractor

The company has added a range of improvements to G-P Contractor. This includes automated contracting approvals, paperless invoicing, the ability to review, manage and terminate contingent worker contracts on G-P's platform and the ability to choose whether to invoice monthly or bi-monthly.

Insights and analytics

G-P has added custom reporting and global talent mapping to its platform, allowing customers to spot global talent availability in regions and countries with their specific skillset needs. This makes recruiting and hiring quicker and more straightforward by identifying the best locations for acquiring talent.

Improved user experience

The latest update to the platform includes more intuitive navigation and labels, streamlined workflows, new iconography, in-product chatbot and new branding, making information easy to see and intuitive to use.

"Technology has enabled an interconnected global workforce; one in which cross-cultural communication and collaboration will unlock the future," says Nat (Rajesh) Natarajan, Chief Product and Strategy Officer, G-P.

"With this release we deliver on our commitment to our customers to continually innovate our Global Employment Platform. New features, integrations, and best-in-class user experience combine to make it ever easier to access global talent."

The company is committed to the 'everywhere workforce', and to support this, G-P has sped up the development of its products to include additional platform capabilities to be released soon.

These will include:

Equity

G-P will transact and report on taxable equity events requiring payroll and payroll tax reporting in various countries.

Background checks

The company will automate and simplify background checks, making them an integral part of any hiring process, whether they are routinely done for new hires or only when necessary to comply with local or federal laws.

Digital wallet for G-P Contractor

The improvements made to G-P Contractor will provide greater flexibility, choice and payment speed. In particular, this enables contractors to receive payments for invoices directly into their bank account or digital wallets.

Further, customers will have options to pay contractors' invoices directly from their bank accounts, digital wallet, or debit cards.

"G-P continues to optimise its equity funding investments, as evidenced by its increased focus and pace of technology innovation," says Jeanine Crane-Thompson, Principal HR Analyst, NelsonHall.

"The company's open API framework and newly formed HRIS partnerships provide the flexibility and scalability to build its future-proof platform.

"G-P's robust cadence of enhancements within its product roadmap to deliver broad HR functionality, security, and scalability aligns with its customers' and professionals' requirements."
