Hydrix wins National Heart Centre Singapore monitoring deal
Thu, 1st Oct 2026 (Today)
Hydrix has secured a multi-year contract with the National Heart Centre Singapore for its Implicity remote cardiac monitoring platform, with an estimated value of AUD $0.625 million over three years.
The contract was awarded to Hydrix Medical, the group's wholly owned subsidiary, to deploy the cloud-based system at the Singapore cardiac hospital. Revenue is expected to begin flowing once implementation starts, although pricing and patient numbers have not been disclosed.
National Heart Centre Singapore will use the platform to monitor patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators and cardiac resynchronisation therapy devices. The system combines data from major device manufacturers into a single interface for clinicians.
The deal gives the Australian company what it sees as an important customer in its push across the Asia-Pacific market. National Heart Centre Singapore is part of SingHealth and serves as Singapore's national and regional referral centre for cardiovascular disease.
Hydrix expects the contract to generate annual recurring revenue of about AUD $0.21 million during the three-year term, depending on the volume of patients monitored under the arrangement. Implementation is expected to begin shortly, with cloud deployment delivered by Implicity and Hydrix Medical.
Regional foothold
The agreement adds a prominent hospital to Hydrix Medical's customer base as healthcare providers make wider use of remote patient monitoring tools. For Hydrix, the Singapore contract also provides a base from which to pursue other hospitals and health systems in the region.
Implicity, which is working with Hydrix Medical on the deployment, provides technology used in cardiac electrophysiology centres and diagnostic testing facilities to manage data from implantable heart devices.
"We are delighted to see NHCS select the Implicity platform and are proud to continue our partnership with Hydrix Medical.
"This deployment supports our international growth strategy and reinforces the value that next-generation remote monitoring and AI-enabled cardiac care can deliver to leading healthcare institutions," said Arnaud Rosier, PhD, Chief Executive Officer of Implicity.
Hydrix Medical said the Singapore hospital's standing in cardiovascular care made the contract commercially important beyond its immediate revenue contribution.
"Securing National Heart Centre Singapore as a customer is a significant commercial milestone for Hydrix Medical and an important validation of our Asia-Pacific growth strategy.
"NHCS is recognised as one of the leading cardiovascular institutions in the region, and its selection of the Implicity platform demonstrates the growing need for scalable digital health solutions that improve operational efficiency while supporting better patient outcomes.
"We see NHCS as an important reference site as we pursue additional opportunities throughout Singapore, Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific region," said Vickie Edwards, Director of Sales and Operations, Hydrix Medical.
Broader business
Hydrix operates across medical technology, defence, industrial and mining, spanning engineering services, technology investment and intellectual property development. Its medical unit focuses on cardiovascular products and technologies brought to market through distribution and commercial partnerships.
Remote monitoring in cardiology is a growing area for hospitals as clinicians seek to track implanted devices and patient conditions without requiring every check-up to take place in person. Systems that consolidate information from different manufacturers are designed to reduce the administrative burden on care teams managing large patient groups.
National Heart Centre Singapore is recognised across Asia for cardiovascular care, research and education. It is a member of SingHealth, Singapore's largest healthcare group.
The contract value remains dependent on monitored patient volumes under the platform.
