Wed, 7th Feb 2024

In a momentous revelation, NCS has been recognised as a leader in the IDC MarketScape: Asia/Pacific Cloud Professional Services 2023-2024 Vendor Assessment. This recognition stands as a significant milestone considering it marks the first time NCS has engaged in this report.

The IDC MarketScape assessment engages in a comprehensive evaluation of strategies and capabilities pertaining to 18 cloud professional services providers within the Asia-Pacific region. The conclusions provided within the report are founded on an extensive collection of information drawn from several sources - vendor responses to IDC's request for information, vendor briefings and sharing sessions, customer references, and IDC’s internal research.

The report advises technology buyers to consider NCS for their needs if they require expertise across a diversity of on-premises and hyperscaler cloud environments to support a multi or hybrid cloud strategy. It also recommends that if professionals want to engage with a vendor with significant cloud experience servicing public sector institutions, enterprises in regulated industries, or digital sovereignty requirements, NCS is a viable option.

Wynthia Goh, Senior Partner and Global Co-lead NEXT at NCS, stated, "As our clients embrace a cloud-centric approach, it is critical to optimise cloud adoption to accelerate business agility and drive positive business impact. We are grateful for the acknowledgment from the IDC MarketScape, which is a testament to the trust and recognition that we have earned among enterprise and government clients for our expanded digital capabilities. This acknowledgment affirms our dedication to assisting our clients in becoming cloud-first enterprises and bolstering business resilience."

She also promised to "continue to improve and introduce relevant cloud services, drawing on our expertise to navigate sovereignty requirements and cloud governance, ensuring our clients can fully harness the cloud's potential to foster business growth and innovation."

Pushkaraksh Shanbhag, Associate Research Director, Cloud and IT Services, IDC Asia/Pacific, emphasised the growing significance of the cloud in our digitised world. He said, "Cloud migration and modernisation have today become an essential step of an organisation's digital transformation journey. As businesses continue to embrace the cloud, the right expertise and capabilities are critical to enable them to capture optimal value from their cloud transformation efforts." He further praised NCS stating, "With a comprehensive portfolio of cloud solutions and services, NCS is well-positioned to help customers build a robust cloud strategy that effectively addresses their needs and requirements."
