Oracle boosts productivity with new user experiences in HCM

Oracle has announced new user experience capabilities within Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM). These enhancements, incorporated with Oracle's award-winning consumer-grade Redwood user experience, are tailored for employees, managers, and specialists. The new Oracle Activity Centres are designed to help increase productivity and accelerate progress towards organisational goals.

"To keep pace with changing business priorities, employees need easy-to-use tools that allow them to work with speed and accuracy, while focusing on the tasks that matter most within their role," said Chris Leone, executive vice president of applications development at Oracle. "With role-specific Activity Centre user experiences, Oracle Cloud HCM users are empowered with quick access to insights, actions, and tools that increase productivity, accelerate HR processes, improve the employee experience, and foster organisation-wide growth."

Oracle Activity Centres offer information and tools that enhance job effectiveness and impact through a centralised, action-focused hub. This hub is tailored to each individual's roles and responsibilities and aggregates applications and information relevant to the employee. It provides tailored KPIs and insights, facilitates in-workflow communication and other engagement actions, and provides AI-driven recommendations and alerts to help users focus on their most crucial tasks.

The first four Oracle Activity Centre experiences include:

Employee Activity Centre: This feature enables employees to boost productivity and prioritise the most important actions. With a highly personalised view of critical data, KPIs, key activities, upcoming milestones, and tailored communications, along with AI-assisted peer feedback tools, organisations can improve employee engagement, build stronger workplace relationships, and enhance the employee experience.

Team Activity Centre: This tool helps managers orchestrate both individual and team activities while concentrating on the most immediate business needs. It provides a single view of team priorities and KPIs, insights into team performance, development, and engagement, visibility into open positions and requisitions, and AI-assisted manager feedback tools, enabling organisations to maximise productivity and improve team performance.

Recruiting Activity Centre: This feature allows recruiters to prioritise important tasks and move forward with next steps to reduce process bottlenecks. With a centralised view of recruiting activities and AI-recommended next best actions, organisations can attract top talent, accelerate hiring processes, and outmanoeuvre rivals in a competitive hiring environment.

Payroll Activity Centre: This tool assists payroll specialists in quickly identifying and resolving errors, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on-time. It offers a single view of payroll across global operations, proactive alerts, and the ability to take swift corrective action, helping organisations optimise payroll processes, reduce errors, and meet employee expectations for prompt and accurate payment.
