Payabli has launched Amigo, an AI agent suite for its embedded payments platform, along with new AI-led tools across its Pay In, Pay Out and Pay Ops products.

The launch centres on Amigo Insights, now live in the Payabli Portal. The tool lets platform teams ask natural-language questions about payment activity, funding status, chargebacks, residuals, merchant account demographics, support tickets and integration options. It draws on live account data, removing the need to build reports or file support requests.

The Miami-based payments infrastructure provider is targeting vertical software companies that use embedded finance to add payment services to their products. The latest additions are designed to help those platforms handle more payments activity with the same teams and systems.

Payabli is also releasing Agentic Vendor Enablement and Agentic Vendor Enrichment. The first automates vendor outreach during payout workflows, while the second automatically adds merchant and vendor data to support payment and underwriting decisions.

Several other products in the Amigo suite remain in development. These include Amigo Risk for transaction monitoring, Amigo Chargebacks for preparing dispute responses, Amigo Boarding for onboarding support, Amigo Underwriting for merchant risk assessment, and Amigo Pricing and Billing for fee calculation and statement accuracy.

Agent Skills and an MCP Server are intended to let software partners use their own AI coding agents to build integrations with Payabli and query technical documentation in natural language. Payabli is also developing Agentic Site-Pay with Visa Intelligent Commerce to automate vendor payment workflows from vendor discovery to payment execution.

Market push

Payabli positioned the launch as a response to rising demand from software companies seeking to generate more revenue from embedded finance without adding operational complexity. It cited a figure showing that 94% of enterprises plan to increase investment in embedded finance.

William Corbera, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Payabli, described the latest products as part of a broader design approach across the platform.

"Embedded payments have become a critical growth engine for vertical software companies, and Payabli has always given them strong payment operations to run them," said William Corbera, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Payabli. "Now we are supercharging those operations with intelligence. We did not bolt AI onto our platform. We built our platform on intelligence. Every decision we make starts with intelligence at the core: from insights, onboarding, underwriting, risk, pricing and billing, and so much more."

Joseph Elias Phillips, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Payabli, said customers were looking for ways to increase payment revenue without expanding operating resources.

"The platforms we work with are asking one question right now: how do I run more revenue through the same team, the same infrastructure, the same operations," said Joseph Elias Phillips, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Payabli. "Embedding intelligence directly into payments infrastructure is not a feature release. It is a step change in what software platforms can do with their payments business, and we are just getting started."

Customer view

Builder Prime, a software company that offers embedded payments through Payabli, said the new tools had improved access to operational data.

"As a SaaS company that offers embedded payments to our customers through our partnership with Payabli, we've struggled to have real-time insights into day-to-day data. Amigo has unlocked the ability to ask about trends across our customer base in application approval timelines, reasons applications get stuck, payment types being used, payments volume fluctuations and more. When we want to dive deeper into a specific customer, Amigo will drill down to a level that gets us immediate, actionable data to use in our operations. It's been a game changer to our use of the Payabli payments portal," said Lindsey Hulet, SVP of Operations at Builder Prime.

The latest release reflects a broader shift among payments providers as they seek to differentiate themselves beyond transaction processing. For software platforms embedding financial services, the focus is increasingly shifting to tools that help manage onboarding, payouts, support, risk and reconciliation within the same system.

Amigo Insights, Agentic Vendor Enablement and Agentic Vendor Enrichment are available now through Payabli's portal and APIs. The rest of the Amigo additions will roll out through the remainder of 2026.
