RaveDAO links $RAVE token to Bitget Wallet payments

RaveDAO has integrated its $RAVE token with Bitget Wallet, adding wallet support on BNB Smart Chain.
The integration lets holders store and manage $RAVE in Bitget Wallet and connects the token to the provider's payment systems, including a card product and QR-based payments for supported merchants.
RaveDAO aims to expand how the token is used across its live event and community ecosystem. The group focuses on music, culture and live events, and has been exploring token use for access, rewards and venue spending.
At launch, support is limited to $RAVE on BNB Smart Chain. Through Bitget Wallet, users can link the token to payment tools including tap-to-pay via Apple Pay and Google Pay, where available, as well as scan-to-pay options.
Event focus
The partnership is designed to tie the token more closely to in-person event activity. Across the wider ecosystem, areas under consideration include ticket purchases, food and drink, VIP experiences, table bookings, travel-related bookings, rewards, access programmes and community incentives.
For RaveDAO, the integration is part of a broader push to move the token beyond trading and holding. The organisation wants $RAVE to play a larger role in how members participate in events, receive rewards and use future services.
Bitget Wallet describes itself as an everyday finance app for transfers, spending, asset management and on-chain services. It said payment routing for the new support is handled through its Onchain Payments Matrix, which connects tokens, networks and payment rails across dozens of blockchains.
Its card is available in more than 50 markets and accepted at more than 150 million merchants worldwide on the Mastercard and Visa networks. That gives RaveDAO a way to connect token holders with offline spending where those payment methods are supported.
In practice, that could include purchases such as merchandise and food and drink at live events, alongside other eligible offline spending. The companies did not provide details on which event operators or venues currently accept those payment methods for $RAVE-linked spending.
Wider access
The deal also reflects a broader effort by crypto wallet providers to connect digital tokens to everyday payment tools rather than limit them to exchange activity. For community-led projects such as RaveDAO, that can help link token ownership to benefits and spending options in physical settings.
RaveDAO said its ecosystem has expanded across Europe, the Middle East, North America and Asia, with more than 100,000 attendees at its events. It has worked with artists including Vintage Culture, Don Diablo, Charlotte de Witte, MORTEN, Miss Monique, Eli Brown, Chris Avantgarde, Lilly Palmer and Artbat.
Bitget Wallet said it has more than 90 million users worldwide and supports more than 1 million tokens across more than 130 blockchains. It also said it raised USD $100 million in funding in 2022 in a round led by Dragonfly.
Beyond events, RaveDAO said it has used proceeds from its activities to fund social impact projects. Those efforts helped restore sight to more than 400 cataract patients in Nepal and supported more than 150 meditation programmes in the United States.
Alvin Kan, Chief Operating Officer, Bitget Wallet, said: "The best use case for crypto isn't a trading screen - it's the moments people actually live. Integrating $RAVE into Bitget Wallet's payment infrastructure means holders can bring their tokens into the experiences they're already part of. That's what everyday finance looks like."
Ron Yung, Operations Lead, RaveDAO, said: "RaveDAO has always believed that the strongest communities are built through shared experiences. As $RAVE becomes more connected to live events, rewards, access and on-site spending, the token can play a more practical role in the moments where our community gathers and participates. The integration with Bitget Wallet is an important step toward making $RAVE part of that journey."
