Rockwell Automation promotes Mariya Prempeh as Country Manager for Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei
Rockwell Automation, a prominent global entity focused on industrial automation and digital transformation, has announced the promotion of Mariya Prempeh to the role of Country Manager for Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei. The promotion will see Prempeh oversee the company's business operations and direct sales within these countries, reporting to Marcelo Tarkieltaub, the regional director for Southeast Asia.
Prominent in industrial automation, Rockwell's strategy centres on several key sectors including life sciences, semiconductors, water treatment, oil and gas, food and beverage, and consumer packaged goods. With this focus, the company aims to expand its presence in Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei, affirming its commitment to the growth within these regions.

In 2023, Singapore's manufacturing sector grew 3.2% year on year, propelled by new models and technological advancements. Meanwhile in Malaysia, manufacturing is poised to grow to a CAGR of 6.5%, projecting a sales revenue of US$118.50 billion in 2024. Their New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (NIMP 2030) aims to address domestic manufacturing challenges, thus enhancing the sector's growth. Brunei also exhibits substantial growth potential, with the integration of advanced technologies poised to improve efficiency and productivity.
