Shufti has been named a Leader in G2's Summer 2026 Identity Verification Grid Report, based on customer reviews on the software marketplace.

G2 said the Leader category in identity verification recognises providers with high customer satisfaction scores and significant market presence. Shufti also received Momentum Leader status in the Identity Verification Momentum Grid, and Leader rankings in the Identity Verification Asia Regional Grid, Identity Verification Asia Pacific Regional Grid and Anti-Money Laundering Grid.

User review data cited for the ranking showed that all reviewers gave Shufti either four or five stars. According to the company, 100% of users believed it was headed in the right direction, while 89% said it was easy to do business with and 89% said they would recommend it.

Two product areas received the highest user scores: Global Coverage at 99% and Workflow Orchestration at 95%.

These measures highlight the areas customers value in identity checks and compliance operations. Global Coverage refers to the company's ability to verify users across multiple markets, while Workflow Orchestration covers automated decision-making, routing cases for manual review, and adjusting rules by region, risk level and customer type.

Regional demand

Shufti's inclusion in Asia and Asia Pacific regional rankings suggests a growing customer base in those markets. The review profile also showed that financial services firms accounted for the largest group of reviewers, alongside companies in technology, consumer services and staffing.

Shufti provides identity verification, know-your-customer and anti-money laundering tools for regulated sectors. It says its system brings together identity and business verification, AML screening, biometric and video KYC, age verification and fraud detection in a single platform.

According to the company, its service is used by more than 2,000 businesses across banking, fintech, eCommerce and gaming. It also says it operates in more than 220 countries and territories and supports more than 150 languages.

Customer ratings

G2 rankings are based on user feedback rather than analyst assessment. In this case, the reviews came from verified professionals using the software in compliance and onboarding work.

Shufti linked the result to demand from businesses facing tighter checks around customer identity and anti-money laundering controls, as well as rising pressure from more complex fraud risks and stricter regulatory expectations.

Shahid Hanif, Chief Executive Officer at Shufti, commented in a company statement: "This recognition means the most to us because it comes directly from the people who use Shufti every day.

"When every reviewer tells us we are moving in the right direction, it confirms we are solving the problems that matter to compliance and fraud teams. We built Shufti to help regulated businesses verify customers in seconds, catch fraud early, and stay compliant without adding friction, and this feedback tells us we are getting it right."

Shufti said the recognition covered a broad set of regulated use cases, including identity verification, AML screening, facial biometrics, age verification and fraud prevention. It also said its passive liveness detection has iBeta Level 3 certification under ISO/IEC 30107-3, while the wider platform holds ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications.

According to the company, all of its technology was built in-house and does not rely on third-party dependencies. It said this approach allows customers to manage verification and compliance tasks within one system rather than using separate tools.

The Momentum Leader classification indicates that Shufti is gaining position within the category relative to more established providers.
