Notable for being the only ed-tech organisation from Singapore and Southeast Asia that caters towards primary and secondary school learners, Geniebook has been lauded for its innovative approach in creating personalised learning experiences powered by artificial intelligence (AI).
The selection of the GSV 150 2024 cohort was conducted from over 2,000 global firms. Key evaluative parameters included revenue scale, revenue growth, user reach, geographic diversification, and margin profile. These companies, supported by venture capital and private equity backers, have witnessed robust growth, collectively catering to an astounding 3 billion people and generating around $23 billion in revenue.
Geniebook, established in 2017 in Singapore, is dedicated to nurturing children to become self-directed learners. This is achieved via personalised tools and innovations, aimed at empowering them to confidently contribute to the world of tomorrow.
In response to Geniebook's inclusion in the list, Neo Zhizhong, CEO and co-founder, expressed satisfaction and pride. He said, "We are thrilled to be part of this year's GSV 150, representing Singapore alongside peers from around the world."
Zhizhong continues, "As a home-grown EdTech company, we deeply appreciate the conducive environment that Singapore provides for the growth of AI companies, enabling us to profoundly transform students' learning experiences through AI."

AI co-pilots, AI tutors, AI content generators — AI is ubiquitous, and differentiation is increasingly critical. The GSV 150 is an impressive group of EdTech companies that are leveraging AI and driving positive outcomes for learners and society."
