XREX Group and Morpho are holding separate digital finance summits in Singapore focused on stablecoins and onchain asset management, reflecting rising industry activity around stablecoins and vault-based investment structures.

XREX is organising Stablecoin Summit, while Vault Summit is hosted by Morpho and co-hosted by DigiFT, with S&P Global Ratings as ratings partner. According to the organisers, the two events are expected to draw more than 600 attendees from payments, decentralised finance, digital assets and institutional finance.

The announcements come as debate over digital asset regulation in the United States remains unsettled. XREX cited the US Senate's failed cloture vote on the CLARITY Act as a sign that regulation is still evolving, even as stablecoin use widens.

The stablecoin market has grown to nearly USD $300 billion. Stablecoin Summit organisers said discussions will cover several forms of digital money, including central bank digital currencies, deposit tokens, fiat-pegged stablecoins, non-fiat stablecoins and decentralised finance-based stablecoins.

Sessions are also expected to cover payments, settlement, interoperability, supply chain finance and the use of stablecoins in the AI economy. Regulators, payments companies, technology groups and financial firms are due to take part.

Wayne Huang, Co-Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of XREX Group, said the market now needs shared standards across different systems and jurisdictions.

"Stablecoins have grown into an independent industry, but there is no single path forward," Huang said. "Different participants are building for different needs, across markets and regulatory environments. The opportunity now is to create the common infrastructure and standards that can connect these efforts, so value can move more seamlessly between institutions, platforms and markets. That is the conversation we want to advance at Stablecoin Summit 2026."

XREX said the summit will feature speakers from companies and institutions including Stripe, S&P Global Ratings, Coinbase, StraitsX, Visa, SAP, Rakuten and Galaxy Ventures. Peter Kerstens, an Adviser to the European Commission often associated with the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets framework, is also listed to speak.

Curve Finance and Bridge are serving as title sponsors. Their executives described the event as a venue for discussion between decentralised finance developers and larger financial institutions, as banks expand their work around stablecoins.

"Stablecoins have won their place in finance, with banks and larger institutions now building around them. There's a clear opportunity for neutral infrastructure that competing institutions can use together without relying on a competitor to run it. That's one of the strengths of DeFi, and we need to keep that openness as adoption grows," said Maximilian Roszko, Business Development Lead at Curve Finance. "That's why I think events like Stablecoin Summit in Singapore are important. Issuers, institutions and DeFi builders need to work together on these connections, and work out what we can actually build together."

Bridge also highlighted regional interest in the sector. "Having grown up in Asia, this one feels personal to me. We're at a truly revolutionary moment for global money movement, rebuilding the infrastructure of money itself so it becomes instant, borderless, and always on," said Jackie Zhang, Data, Crypto and Issuance at Bridge. "There's so much energy around stablecoins in Asia right now, and I'm excited to be here with the Bridge team, building this future alongside developers and partners in the region."

Vault focus

The separate Vault Summit will centre on so-called vault infrastructure, a segment of onchain finance that packages digital asset strategies for institutional or managed allocation. Organisers said the programme will examine how institutions assess risk, deploy capital, gain exposure to tokenised real-world assets and compare vault structures with conventional investment funds.

Singapore's role as a financial centre forms part of the backdrop. The organisers said the city-state combines regulation, capital and market infrastructure in a way that makes it a fitting place to discuss how institutional money is moving onchain.

Vault Summit plans to host more than 35 speakers from banks, asset managers, protocol developers and institutional allocators. Listed participants include executives from Franklin Templeton, Fidelity Digital Assets, UBS, Standard Chartered, Circle, Bitwise Asset Management and Hanwha.

Paul Frambot, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Morpho, said vaults have become a more prominent part of the market over the past year.

"Since our first Vault Summit a year ago, vaults have become an important part of onchain finance and grown just as much in interest," Frambot said. "Vault Summit is a critical moment to bring together the builders, curators and institutions shaping this ecosystem, and to show how far vaults have already come, and how much is still ahead."

Party Action People, the event organiser, said vaults now sit at the centre of discussions about how blockchain-based finance can be used by institutions, rather than only retail users or crypto-native firms.

"Through our conversations with leaders across finance, it became clear that vaults have emerged as a critical layer of onchain finance. While stablecoins are delivering blockchain's promise to billions of users around the world, vaults are delivering that promise to finance, from interest-rate price discovery and compliant yield on stablecoins to lending, borrowing and curated DeFi strategies," said Zachary John, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Party Action People. "Vault Summit brings together every layer of this emerging ecosystem, from category-defining infrastructure providers and leading curators to institutional players, risk, tooling and liquidity providers, to shape the future of finance."

DigiFT, which is co-hosting the event, linked vault structures to the next stage of tokenisation as financial firms search for practical uses for onchain assets.

"Tokenisation's first decade was about proof of concept, and the next one is about proof of use. Vaults show what happens when onchain capital finally gets a job to do. That's exactly the conversation Vault Summit is built for, and why DigiFT is co-hosting it this year," said Henry Zhang, Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of DigiFT. "The room will be full of the people building vaults. Markets like Singapore prove this can be done properly, with credible custody, real distribution rules and deep liquidity. That's what will decide who wins the next phase of tokenisation, not the assets you can put onchain, but the capital you can put to work."
