2020 Hong Kong LGBT+ Inclusion Awards finalists announced

Hong Kong-based not-for-profit firm Community Business has announced the finalists for this year’s 2020 Hong Kong LGBT+ Inclusion Awards.

The Awards, which were established in 2015, recognise Hong Kong business’ efforts to promote LGBT+ equality and inclusion.

The nominations take into account nominees’ creative, impactful, proactive, strategic, and sustainable ways in which they promote their efforts. The ceremony will be held at a gala dinner in July.

Community Business CEO Peter Sargant says this year’s nominee pool is once again strong.

“It is encouraging that, as we celebrate the sixth year of these awards, LGBT+ inclusion appears to have become central to D&I strategies in Hong Kong. I look forward to celebrating the achievements of the community from the other side of the fence this year as I step into my new role as CEO of Community Business. Thank you to everyone who submitted and made it possible for us to proceed with each of these awards. I was extremely impressed by the work that is being undertaken and I wish good luck to each of the finalists as they meet with the judging panel,” Sargant adds.
