Anaptyss has launched IGNITE, an internal innovation and intellectual property incubation programme intended to make innovation a company-wide activity.

The programme gives employees a formal route to develop ideas into customer solutions, business improvements and, in some cases, patentable intellectual property. It is organised around three tracks: IdeaLab, Co-Create and Patent Path.

Employees will be able to use the platform to identify business problems, work with customers and build solutions linked to Anaptyss's work in AI, automation and managed services. Projects may range from process improvements and service delivery changes to technologies with commercial potential.

IGNITE includes evaluation processes, leadership mentoring, executive sponsorship, rewards tied to milestones, and funding for prototype development and patent filing. Those measures are intended to help ideas move from concept to implementation.

Broader push

The launch reflects a wider shift among companies seeking to draw more innovation from operational teams rather than leaving it mainly to research and product units. Businesses are under pressure to shorten development cycles and respond more quickly to changing customer demands as AI tools spread across organisations.

Anaptyss presented the initiative as part of that shift, arguing that employees closest to customers and daily operations can often spot practical problems and commercially relevant opportunities earlier than specialist teams working at a distance.

In comments accompanying the launch, Anaptyss linked the programme to customer co-creation and a more systematic approach to developing internal ideas. It said the scheme is also intended to expand its pipeline of new solutions and intellectual property.

"As AI fundamentally reshapes industries, innovation can no longer remain the responsibility of dedicated R&D teams, it must become an enterprise-wide capability. The people closest to our customers and business operations often have the deepest understanding of the challenges that matter most. IGNITE is designed to unlock that potential by giving every employee the opportunity to build meaningful solutions, create intellectual property and contribute to the future of our business. This is a strategic investment in our people, our innovation pipeline and our long-term competitiveness," said Anuj Khurana, Co-Founder & CEO of Anaptyss.

Internal incentives

Staff taking part in IGNITE will receive leadership recognition, innovation certifications, performance credits and opportunities to work directly with customers on business initiatives. Inventors will be recognised for patented work, while Anaptyss will cover intellectual property protection and filing costs.

That emphasis suggests the company is trying to address a common barrier in corporate innovation programmes, where ideas are collected but often stall before testing, funding or formal ownership decisions. By attaching sponsorship and budget to later stages, Anaptyss is attempting to create a clearer process for turning employee suggestions into deployable projects.

The initiative could also help the company identify ideas that may later develop into platforms, products or differentiated services. That points to a dual purpose: improving current operations while creating new commercial assets over time.

Anaptyss describes itself as an AI-first managed services and business transformation company serving sectors including banking, mortgages, commercial lending, wealth management, fintech, crypto exchanges and insurance. The launch of IGNITE places employee-led innovation closer to the centre of how it aims to develop solutions for those markets.

Employees will be encouraged to work on business challenges including operational efficiency, customer experience, service delivery and process optimisation, alongside the development of next-generation technology solutions that create measurable customer value.
