Chris Wilson named new finance chief at Ecommpay

Chris Wilson has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer of Ecommpay, a payments platform company.

With qualifications dating back to 2010 as a Chartered Accountant, Wilson brings extensive experience from the music and payments industries to Ecommpay, having previously worked with entities such as Shieldpay, Universal Music Group, BBC Studios, and Warner Music Group. Wilson's skills span commercial, strategic, and operational finance, positioning him ideally to contribute to Ecommpay's growth strategies for 2025 and onwards.

Wilson's role before joining Ecommpay was Group Finance Director at Shieldpay, where he was instrumental in expanding operations across the UK and US. His proven expertise in supporting start-ups, SMEs, and global corporations aligns with Ecommpay's ambitions as it continues to grow in the dynamic and fast-paced e-commerce landscape.
