CloudMile to boost AI adoption for firms with SGD $150m ECI fund

Fri, 21st Nov 2025

CloudMile has been appointed as a technology partner by Digital Industry Singapore (DISG) to support the rollout of the Enterprise Compute Initiative (ECI), a government programme focused on boosting artificial intelligence adoption among Singaporean businesses.

Government initiative

The ECI, introduced as part of Singapore's Budget 2025, allocates up to SGD $150 million to help local enterprises strengthen their AI and cloud computing capabilities. The initiative is managed by DISG, which coordinates public sector efforts from the Economic Development Board, Enterprise Singapore, and the Infocomm Media Development Authority.

ECI aims to bolster the digital competitiveness of local firms, support talent development, and encourage scalable use of emerging technologies. Selected technology partners, including CloudMile, have been tasked with engaging companies to develop AI strategies, identify high-impact applications, and build prototypes that address business needs.

Programmeme details

CloudMile will deliver two targeted programmes for Singapore companies as part of its ECI partnership. The first, AI-DIVE, focuses on assessing enterprise readiness for artificial intelligence deployment. The second, AI-STRAT, provides a rapid prototyping pathway, enabling organisations to develop and implement generative AI solutions that align with compliance and data governance requirements.

The company has created a Generative AI Foundation Framework, designed to guide participants from initial opportunity assessment to deployment and scaling of AI solutions. Over the next year, CloudMile plans to engage more than 50 local enterprises through a series of workshops, consultations, and prototyping exercises to promote enterprise AI use.

Support offering

CloudMile will support participating businesses in developing AI blueprints, managing organisational change, and providing technical maintenance. Post-prototype assistance will be available to help integrate solutions into daily operations and upskill in-house talent. Consulting fees under the ECI programme are expected to be as much as SGD $150,000, with up to 70 percent subsidised by government funding.

CloudMile's experience spans sectors including education, finance, and media. Its approach includes working directly with businesses to design AI roadmaps and measure business outcomes from new deployments. The company operates in several Asian markets, with offices in Singapore, Taipei, Hong Kong, and other major cities.

Industry engagement

Through this partnership, CloudMile is inviting Singapore-based firms to participate in the ECI framework and make use of available discovery sessions and AI programmes. The focus is on helping businesses achieve tangible results and remain agile in a shifting technological environment.

"We are honoured to work alongside DISG to help Singaporean companies embrace AI. Our Generative AI Foundation Framework is designed to put AI into practice, while having the agility to adapt to changing landscape - guiding enterprises to move from ideas to scalable, real-world impact," said Jeremy Heng, Managing Director, Southeast Asia, CloudMile.
