Thu, 9th Nov 2023

Dell Technologies is expanding its portfolio of professional services for Microsoft technologies, incorporating new services for Microsoft 365 Copilot. These new services aim to help customers adopt a consistent approach towards implementing and managing their technology.

New offerings include assessment, advisory, operational readiness and implementation services to help businesses adopt Microsoft 365 Copilot quickly and at scale. As businesses across the Asia Pacific and Japan region increase their adoption of generative AI, such services will be instrumental.

Chuah Yeow Chong, Vice President for Services Sales, Asia Pacific and Japan, Dell Technologies, stated, "As organisations across the Asia Pacific and Japan region ramp up their generative AI adoption efforts, they seek a strategic partner to guide them through a complex ecosystem. Our expertise in technology and professional services, combined with Microsoft's suite of tools and Microsoft 365 Copilot, will accelerate and scale next-generation AI capabilities."

According to Gartner, by 2026, more than 80% of enterprises will have used Generative AI (GenAI) application programming interfaces or models, or deployed GenAI-enabled applications in production environments. This is a significant increase from the less than 5% in 2023.

The new services from Dell Technologies aim to help organisations develop strategies, deploy and test solutions, and prepare teams to capitalise on Microsoft 365 Copilot functionality. Dell's services ensure that organisations not only have an AI strategy and implementation plan for Microsoft 365 Copilot, but also help organisations establish user readiness for optimal scaling of this powerful GenAI capability.

Commenting on this, TJ Devine, Sr. Director, Product Marketing, Microsoft expressed, “Microsoft 365 Copilot is empowering our customers to accelerate their productivity and efficiency. Dell’s services are a valuable proposition for customers by ensuring they have an AI strategy and implementation plan for Microsoft 365 Copilot, while helping organisations establish user readiness for optimal scaling of this powerful GenAI capability.”

The services for Microsoft 365 Copilot are accompanied by more than a dozen new services designed to help customers maximise their Microsoft technology investments. These include Dell’s services for Microsoft Azure and multicloud management with Azure Arc, as well as advisory services for Azure. These services deliver greater flexibility and control by allowing customers to manage resources across multiple clouds and optimise cloud resources.

New data platform services provide powerful data visualisation and business intelligence to help customers manage, analyse, and visualise their data in real time. New security services for Microsoft Defender for Cloud and IoT also provide advanced features to help protect cloud and IoT devices from potential threats.

These professional services for Microsoft technologies by Dell are available globally and across traditional channels.
