NetApp, an intelligent data infrastructure company, has announced key executive appointments to drive its growth in Southeast Asia, particularly in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Malaysia. The multinational technology firm strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointments of Sheraine Chua as Senior Director for ASEAN and Alwyn David as the Country Manager for NetApp Malaysia.

Sheraine Chua brings with her more than 25-years of leadership experience in directing high-performance sales teams across Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC). Her previous roles include serving as the Channel Sales Director (EMEA) at Adobe, and leadership positions at Seagate, Western Digital, Belkin and Packard Bell. Alwyn David, the newly appointed Country Manager for NetApp Malaysia, holds a background as a software developer, with over three decades of experience in various technology firms. These include Dell, Telekom Malaysia, EMC, IBM, SAP, and Microsoft. He last served as the Head of Sales for Maxis. In his new role, David is tasked to steer the company’s local strategy and growth, assisting businesses to leverage their data to drive innovation and generate significant business outcomes.
