SK Planet partners with Mocaverse for Web3 experiences

SK Planet and Mocaverse have announced a partnership to develop Web3-enabled experiences using Realm SDK and MOCA Coin.

SK Planet, which operates South Korea's largest loyalty programme app OK Cashbag, is collaborating with Animoca Brands to integrate Mocaverse's Realm SDK into their digital ecosystem. This integration aims to onboard SK Planet's 28 million verified users to the Web3 environment.

The partnership will leverage the technological capabilities of Mocaverse, Animoca Brands' platform designed to enhance consumer experiences with a unified login entry point for Web3 interactions. This collaboration will enable SK Planet's users to accumulate, own, and use assets across various ecosystems and applications.

SK Planet will also join the Realm SDK network, which includes partners such as One Football and MyAnimeList, potentially providing access to approximately 250 million monthly active users across these platforms. The partnership will offer various Web3 experiences, including gaming and IP-based products.

Additionally, SK Planet plans to adopt MOCA Coin, the utility currency developed by MOCA Foundation, as a core component of their internet services. MOCA Coin will function as an essential user reward currency for onboarding consumers onto SK Planet services, marking its first foray into cryptocurrency within its platforms.
