StarHub ranks 184th in FORTUNE Southeast Asia 500 for 2023
StarHub has been included in the inaugural FORTUNE Southeast Asia 500, a new list ranking the largest companies in the region by revenue for 2023. StarHub secured the 184th spot among 500 companies listed.
For the financial year ending on 1 December 2023, StarHub reported a net profit attributable to shareholders (NPAT) of SGD $149.6 million.
This represents a substantial 140.4% increase year-on-year compared to SGD $62.2 million in 2022. The company attributed this financial growth to strong performance across all its business segments.
StarHub's consumer segment has continued to experience sustained growth. This has been driven by the expansion of its Infinity Play offering, which enhances lifestyle, entertainment, and connectivity options with seamless multi-device access. On the enterprise side, StarHub has expanded its platform to become a trusted provider for cybersecurity, cloud and info-communications technology, and network connectivity needs.
The company is in the final stages of its DARE+ transformation programme, which is expected to be completed by the end of the financial year 2024. This phase involves significant investments and building initiatives.
Upon completion, the company anticipates accelerated growth and innovation, which will drive value in both its consumer and enterprise segments, not only in Singapore but across the region.
The FORTUNE Southeast Asia 500 list for this year analysed and tracked businesses in a variety of sectors, including commodities, transportation, finance, retail, technology, and services.
The list aims to highlight the largest companies across these diverse industries that have demonstrated notable performance.
StarHub plans to continue leveraging new technologies to offer differentiated services that meet evolving customer needs. The company remains committed to enhancing its market-leading position and driving profitability growth.
