The Ultimate Guide to IoT Security
2023 edition
Overview
The Internet of Things promises a lot, and among those promises is the potential for it all to go awry. IoT Security is the branch of cybersecurity concerned with keeping the millions of actual and expected devices ‘in the field’ secure from compromise; IoT devices are different from those in human hands as their communication is machine-to-machine. Hackers seek to insert themselves between the machines, thereby disrupting and interfering with the regular operation of sensors and other devices collecting and relaying information from the network edge.
