Wed, 22nd May 2024

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has announced the expansion of its strategic partnerships in Singapore with ACA Pacific Technology and Exclusive Networks Singapore. This move aims to bring to market Network as a Service by ALE (NaaS), addressing the increasing demand for digital transformation across various verticals and markets.

ALE’s NaaS offering is a flexible hybrid model allowing businesses to purchase Digital Age Networking solutions. These solutions enable ALE’s business partners and customers to quickly deploy scalable network infrastructure to meet evolving business needs.

The NaaS offering includes OmniSwitches, OmniAccess Stellar, and OmniVista Cirrus management platforms, along with associated value-added services. This combination aims to simplify and automate network operations while ensuring deployment consistency. Customers have the option to purchase hardware and subscribe to software licenses, applications, and services as required, providing access to the latest network technology and services with a low initial investment.

Tee Jyh Chong, Vice President of Sales and Services, Asia Pacific, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, highlighted the increasing complexity of the global economy as businesses in Singapore embrace digital transformation and cloud-based services. “Our NaaS offering will transform how customers and partners can access and leverage our network solutions. This will enable them to simplify the foundation of their digital infrastructure, providing flexibility and agility to adapt to today's dynamic business demands,” said Chong.

Craig Gledhill, CEO of ACA Pacific Technology, expressed his enthusiasm for ALE’s new solutions. “Singapore’s recent Budget 2024 reflects the country’s strategic response to global challenges while prioritising long-term resilience. We look forward to offering Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise’s NaaS solutions to help enterprises deliver innovation at scale,” he remarked.

Lilian Lam, Country Manager at Exclusive Networks Singapore, echoed similar sentiments, noting the importance of collaboration in digital transformation. “We are thrilled to extend our long-standing partnership with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise to deliver NaaS solutions that meet the diverse needs of our customers in Singapore, as we strive to help them achieve their digital transformation strategies,” said Lam.

Globally, the NaaS market was valued at USD $14 billion in 2023 and is projected to reach USD $192 billion by 2033, with a CAGR of 30% from 2024 to 2033. The Asia Pacific region is anticipated to experience the fastest growth, driven by increasing digital transformation demands, cloud adoption, and a rise in remote work.
