CloudMile unveils LumiTure.ai to boost secure AI & FinOps
CloudMile concluded its AI in Action - CloudMile Solution Day series across four major Southeast Asian markets, highlighting its LumiTure.ai FinOps platform and "Secure by Design" approach to AI.
The series, held in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines, gathered more than 300 business and technology leaders from across the region. This turnout signalled significant interest among enterprises for integrated solutions encompassing artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and financial operations management.
A major milestone of the event series was the introduction of LumiTure.ai, CloudMile's multi-cloud financial operations platform. LumiTure.ai is designed to help organisations track and manage cloud expenditure, as well as allocate costs across various cloud infrastructures. By doing so, the platform is positioned at the intersection of AI strategy, cybersecurity practices, and robust financial governance.
CloudMile promoted the concept that the successful adoption of AI within organisations must be underpinned by security considerations from the outset. The events focused on building resilient and secure data frameworks, with an emphasis on ethical and responsible approaches to AI technology.
The discussions at the series covered a range of topics, including support for high-value AI adoption, strengthening the digital economy via financial controls, and sustaining business competitiveness through the three pillars of cybersecurity, data and AI, and financial operations.
Market insights
"The Southeast Asian market is one of the most dynamic regions for AI adoption," said Spencer Liu, Founder and Chairman of CloudMile Group. "The overwhelming turnout for this series demonstrates the strong appetite for solutions that combine AI with a robust framework for security and cost efficiency. With the introduction of LumiTure.ai, we are directly addressing these market needs."
The series saw participation from key industry partners, including Google Cloud, Bitdefender, Confluent, and JumpCloud. Each contributed their insights on enterprise security, data handling, and AI infrastructure. According to CloudMile, these collaborations illustrate the need for strategic partnerships to encourage broader AI deployment across industries in Southeast Asia.
Presenters and panel discussions echoed CloudMile's message that an integrated approach to AI - one where security and financial accountability are prioritised - is more effective for sustained digital transformation.
Approach to AI
"The 'AI in Action' series was designed to urge businesses to look beyond the impressive results of AI agents and to instead focus on establishing a clear, secure, and cost-effective roadmap for their AI journey from the very beginning," said Jeremy Heng, Southeast Asia Managing Director of CloudMile. "Our approach is simple: build a robust foundation where security and efficiency are not afterthoughts but are woven into the very fabric of the data journey."
CloudMile emphasised the importance of responsible and ethical AI behaviour, aligning with ongoing industry discussions about regulatory compliance and the potential risks associated with AI technologies. The company's focus on a "Secure by Design" methodology suggested that cybersecurity planning must be integral throughout the AI lifecycle, from adoption to operation.
Business adoption
Attendees engaged in dialogue about practical aspects of deploying AI technologies and optimising return on investment through careful financial management. With cloud spending under increased scrutiny in the current economic climate, tools such as LumiTure.ai were presented as means of increasing transparency and control for enterprises operating in diverse cloud environments.
CloudMile's events reflected broader regional priorities regarding technological advancements, data protection, and the need to safeguard digital infrastructures against an increasing range of cyber threats. The company's stance was that the synergy of AI, prudent financial operations, and pre-emptive security is critical for large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
The series provided a platform for stakeholders to examine the challenges and opportunities emerging as businesses across Southeast Asia accelerate their AI journeys while striving to comply with stricter data governance and security expectations.
