Freshworks appoints Srinivasan Raghavan as Chief Product Officer

Freshworks has appointed Srinivasan Raghavan as its new Chief Product Officer, a role in which he will lead and scale the company's product strategy and vision.

Srinivasan Raghavan, known as Srini, joins Freshworks with over twenty years of leadership experience in the enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) industry. Most recently, Raghavan served as CPO at RingCentral, where he expanded the company's portfolio, introducing new revenue streams via cloud-based contact centre, marketing, and sales intelligence solutions.

In his new role, Raghavan will report to Freshworks' Chief Executive Officer and President Dennis Woodside. Woodside commented, "Srini is a key addition to our team to lead innovation that delivers a scalable trajectory for growth across our three key business priorities: employee experience, artificial intelligence, and customer experience. Srini's track record driving enterprise growth and managing complex multi-product scaling efforts coupled with his bold vision for the future of AI, make him uniquely qualified to lead our CX and EX product strategy."

Raghavan's career also includes significant roles at Five9 and Cisco. At Five9, he served as Senior Vice President of Product, where he spearheaded the development of AI-powered digital engagement and automation solutions. This included the creation of a platform for workflow automation, virtual agents, and assistive tools for contact centre agents. At Cisco, his career encompassed strategic and product leadership positions in the Applications Software and Collaboration Business units.

Raghavan's educational background includes a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering, paired with an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. With his extensive global leadership experience spanning across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, he is well-positioned to bring a diverse and strategic perspective to Freshworks. His passion remains focussed on creating customer-centric and scalable solutions.
