FPT joins SAP's Regional Partner initiative to boost APJ operations
FPT, the global IT services provider, has joined the SAP's Regional Strategic Services Partner (RSSP) initiative in the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region. This new partnership aims to enable FPT to swiftly grow its SAP operations, benefiting from strategic backing, industry-aligned solutions, and a joint go-to market strategy.
FPT has a robust history with SAP, having successfully executed many digital transformation projects in sectors such as Manufacturing and BFSI with their services. The partnership, spanning two decades, highlights the shared emphasis on promoting efficient resource management and growth. The recognition of FPT by the RSSP comes after years of thriving collaboration and numerous SAP awards.
The signing ceremony of this strategic partnership between FPT and SAP was attended by FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh and SAP Asia Pacific and Japan President Paul Marriott, alongside other senior executives.
Through the RSSP initiative, SAP will provide eligible partners, such as FPT, with strategic support. This could include coordinated industry-aligned solutions, a joint go-to-market strategy, and exposing these partners to SAP regional and industry-specific expertise. Thus, FPT will be perfectly placed to scale its SAP practice more rapidly across the APJ region and augment its synergy with SAP to drive joint customer success.
As the RSSP initiative is aimed at facilitating collaboration within region-based partner organisations that display capabilities and capacity requirements specific to the APJ customers, the focus will differ from SAP's existing Global Strategic Services Partner (GSSP) programme. The latter caters to a select group of the company's most strategic global consulting, infrastructure, and tech partners.
FPT's SAP implementation and maintenance services have a strong base of certified and experienced SAP resources. They have indeed amassed over 900 certifications, supported by a dedicated team of SAP consultants.
Sharing his enthusiasm, Dr. Truong Gia Binh, FPT Chairman, said: "At FPT, we are passionate about building a happier future for individuals, fostering success for organisations, and prosperity for nations. The 20 years of partnership between SAP and FPT has been a journey of happiness, because we shared a purpose – to enable enterprises in Vietnam and worldwide to manage their resources with efficiency, with transformation, and with growth and expansion."
The new collaboration will allow FPT to leverage on SAP's industry expertise and resources for improving its SAP S/4HANA Cloud migration services and managed services, according to Pham Minh Tuan, CEO of FPT Software. Their aim is to meet the escalating needs of their customers in the Asia Pacific Japan region.
Utkarsh Maheshwari, Chief Partner Officer at SAP Asia Pacific Japan, highlighted the fast-growing SAP partner ecosystem in the region and expressed his excitement at driving more innovation and value for their customers with their regional partners. He congratulated FPT Corporation on its success in joining the SAP Regional Strategic Services Partner initiative.
FPT's association with SAP dates back to 2003 and includes numerous successful joint digital transformation projects across sectors like Manufacturing, BFSI, and Energy. In conclusion, FPT's inclusion in the RSSP initiative validates its substantial contributions that have been recognised through multiple awards over the years, making FPT a fitting choice for SAP's RSSP initiative.
